Offer Manager, Thermal and Mechanical Breakers

Objective and Purpose:
Lead and orchestrate Home & Distribution's National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) Thermal Magnetic and Electronic Breakers (Final Distribution - B) Business. As an offer manager for Thermal and Mechanical Breakers, you will be helping to shape our product portfolio. You will manage offers/products throughout the entire product/offer lifecycle, from inception to end-of-life. You will need the ability to understand the complex needs of the managing different stakeholders, supporting relationships in the industry, and compose that into strategy that can be communicated to the innovators (R&D) and developers that will bring it to reality. You will need strong academic qualifications and hands-on experience to drive and collaborate with various functions like R&D, engineering, sales, marketing, portfolio management, and country operations. Main Job Responsibilities 1. Champion and lead the product (offer) lifecycle end-to-end, ensuring new and existing product (offer)success. 2. Closely work with various cross-functional teams and organizations including Business Development and Sales to identify offer needs, gaps, and opportunities to build strong value propositions. 3. Understand market trends, technology landscape, competitors' landscape, industry and country specific codes & standards cycles. 4. Plan and prioritize offer/product feature backlog. 6. Determine customers' needs and willingness to pay for different offer features based on voice of the customer, focus groups, and market research. 7. Work with external customers, partners, and other eco-system to drive use-cases and user-experience metrics for an external customer facing usage. 8. Create business cases, use cases, and offer requirements for product evolution, adaptation, maintenance, optimization, and new development. 9. Responsible for product performance with targets on revenue, cost & margin. 10. Define price positioning strategies, competitive landscape, and benchmarks, launch strategy, channel development and customer journey. 11. Work closely with various marketing functions and organization like (Global Marketing, US Marketing, Marcom, and Launch team) for a successful marketing and launch. 12. Develop marketing assets while working with internal and external stakeholder and strong engagement with functions like Global Marketing to produce assets like video, sales pitch, sales tools, customer testimonial and other literature and customer communication to promote the offer value proposition. 13. Train different entity actors (sales, business development, US operations team, channel team, customer care center (CCC) teams, sales and tech support) to align the understanding of product and offer, different process and its related Information System. Strategic Planning Focus on customer and market segmentation Develop creative solutions and value propositions Adaptability to negotiate and influence Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Offer application knowledge, codes, and standards Knowledge on electrical distribution systems (residential and commercial) Oral and written communication skills (Spanish a plus). Experience in Offer Creation Process Offer Creation Process, either in project execution or in development engineering activities, or in Marketing Strong experience in field of marketing, process development & implementation, and project-portfolio management to name a few Mandatory Tools knowledge:
Microsoft Office (emails, skype for business, power point (PPT) and excel), Project Management tools like - JIRA and Confluence, Conference management tool, analytical tools Strong aptitude to learn new tools and technology in a dynamic changing technology landscape Required Educational / Academic requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in business or related field along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic marketing, project management, portfolio management, or business-related field. Preferred Educational / Academic requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in marketing along with a master's degree in International Business or MBA from topnotch business school with a minimum 8 years of experience in Business / Marketing / Program-Portfolio Management for a fast pace multinational Fortune 500 organization. Certification in project management techniques and framework like agile framework. Prefer a scrum master certification
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Brand Marketing & ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
