Position Summary
The Product Owner works with VGT management, artistic staff, and technical staff to support the product vision for the company as a whole. This position is the ultimate advocate for the customer and meets regulatory constraints to create a world class gaming system. This position is also responsible for communication with product stakeholders and ensures delivery of industry-leading experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Translate the VGT roadmap into prioritized product backlog which will be utilized by development teams
Create user stories and acceptance criteria for the product backlog and assist Scrum development teams through planning session
Ensure product vision is understood by all development team members
Collaborate with compliance to clearly understand regulatory constraints and jurisdictional requirements
Collaborate with product management to establish release planning
Provide rapid feedback and approval for Scrum development team work product
Attend, and participate in, all Scrum team ceremonies
Track and communicate release burn-down metrics to product management
Ensure delivery of casino gaming systems based on industry trends and product information
Understand target end-user profiles in the casino industry
Support the company vision for casino product development
Interface with company stakeholders to understand product expectations
Initiate, foster, and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external development organizations in a Scrum environment
Collaborate with product management to understand product performance and customer feedback for continuous product improvement
Understand and communicate customer needs
Manage external development efforts with third party vendors for outsourced technology
Supply feedback on the performance of associates who are part of the Scrum teams
Understand VGT's product life cycle model thoroughly and improve as necessary
Mentor other associates as well as other Product Owners
Knowledge/Skills Required:
Experience leading and fostering a collaborative, creative environment with multiple self-managing Scrum teams
Two years technical development knowledge
Strong business analysis skills and experience with requirement/user story elicitation, documentation and prioritization
High attention to detail and quality
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Adaptable and comfortable with change
Ability to manage feature changes and determine their impact to the overall product release plan
Goal oriented and dedicated to superior product development
Education, Training and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in related field
Two years of casino gaming industry experience helpful
Two years of experience working in a Scrum environment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
