POSITION
Summary:
Technical: Build/test/configure clinical content for Tier 1 MU products, including CPOE, physician documentation, and Medhost accounting based on CHS Standards and MU objectives. Use automated toolsets to build and validate content.
Thought leadership: Build accurate content necessary for physicians/clinicians/medical records/accounting to perform daily functions that meet regulatory requirements and clinical appropriateness.
Clinical content: Create, map, and build physician templates, CPOE order sets, decision support rules and quality measure informatics based on the CHS standards utilizing approved automated tools where appropriate.
Collaborate with clinical teams to improve content quality and effectiveness for MU adoption.
Interact with Clinical teams, HIIM, and business partners to understand the clinical content requirements in the EHR and address needs to modify and/or update content as necessary to comply with the CHS standards. Work with clinical liaisons to determine facility specific services, requirements, and communications related to MU build content.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or clinical application or project management experience can be substituted in lieu of education.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a combination of Healthcare IT systems, application implementation or infrastructure implementation.
Experience working with Clinical Application such as MedHost/HMS's Pharmacy or Lab applications.
Above average communication skills (written and verbal)
Presentation skills
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Demonstrable leadership skills
