Clinical Transformation - Clinical Servicesteam.
Summary: The Clinical Informatics Analyst supports the
Evidence-Based Order Set program. The Clinical Informatics Analyst will work as
part of a team of nurses, physicians, pharmacists and various Interdisciplinary
members in the development and maintenance of clinical content which includes supporting
the content management process, the facilitation of clinical content
development, and the ongoing support of a standardized content model for the
Evidence Based Order Sets program within enterprise Electronic Health Records (EHRs).
The Clinical Informatics Analyst is a subject matter expert who provides
clinical expertise regarding best practices and healthcare guiding principles
for clinical development, maintenance, and standardization of order sets for
all facilities.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilitiesinclude the
following. Other duties may be
assigned.

Provide expertise in order set design, editing, and
publishing. Communicate requirements
to product development, implementation, and education/training teams.

Establish best practices and guiding principles
for clinical content development, use, and maintenance within varying EHR
frameworks.

Interact and communicate with physicians and
clinicians, consistently exhibiting behavior and communication skills that
demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality,
care, and concern with internal and external contacts as a professional
representative of Community Health Systems.

Responsible for partnering to build clinical
content in the Zynx Health software application.

Work closely with other Clinical Content
Editor(s), Analysts, Physicians, Pharmacists, Nurses, and various
stakeholders to ensure quality and accuracy of content releases.

Collaborate with IS and other EHR stakeholders to
help define the use and integration of CHS' standard clinical order set content
into clinical applications, an important part of which is order set
validation within each EHR.

Exhibit excellent attention to detail and
accuracy in all work products, ensuring project documentation up to date
and distributed to all key stakeholders in a timely manner.

Work on other activities, as necessary, to
support the Order Set development process and EHR implementation.
Qualifications:

collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret
an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form

Computer Skills:
To perform this job
successfully, an individual should have solid knowledge of Word Processing
software; Spreadsheet software and Database software. This position requires an
understanding and appreciation for clinical information technology. Knowledge
of Zynx software is highly preferred.

Education/
Experience:
Bachelor
of Science in Nursing (BSN) from four-year college or university required; or
one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination
of education and experience.
