Human Capital Manager Summary

The Human Capital Manager is responsible for setting and implementing talent strategies, processes and routines to ensure that we have the right people, with the right skills in the right place to meet current and future business needs. Identify and strengthen individual and organizational capabilities.This position will report to the IS Process & Performance Improvement Director.

Management responsibilities include:
Provide expertise, training, and mentoring to team for perpetual growth and development
Prepares performance reviews, professional development measurements, major job objectives, career development plans and budget recommendations for assigned area
Works regularly with leadership to develop standards and best practices to improve efficiency and over-all quality of work delivered by the team
Monitoring the team''s performance to make sure that the team stays on schedule and meets their performance metrics
Primary responsibilities include:
Design highly effective and relevant solutions for talent retention and development
Design evaluation strategies for measuring the results and impact of initiatives
Prepare and present quarterly and annual Human Capital metrics reports
Conduct on-going needs assessment, recommend & develop targeted solutions to gaps in learning and development offerings for the business and work closely with HR Managers and business leaders to execute
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to assure that Training & Development programs are aligned with specific priorities and outcomes
Design blended learning programs as well as a demonstrated competence in program analytics, human capital metrics that reflect the impact to learning and management investments
Supporting the Integration of the talent, leadership, and management initiatives for high potential employees and emerging talent
Identifies processes, best practices and supports the end-to-end talent management process to ensure top talent placement, retention, and development
Create a best in class recruiting team culture, developing innovative recruiting techniques and building an employer brand in important/key markets
Liaise with IS leadership regarding their hiring plans and internal talent movement
Implement and provide efficient and scalable recruiting processes, interviewing techniques, assessment tools to support ongoing talent acquisition needs across CHS IS
Inspire the talent acquisition teams to achieve quality sourcing, hiring and on-boarding goals while building long term relationships with teammates, talent pools and recruiting community
Viewed as thought leader by the business to drive continuous improvement in the applicant/candidate experience, reporting, data and analytics, productivity, planning and forecasting of hiring and internal movement.
Anticipate the needs of the business and stay current on the competitive environment and recruiting and talent management trends. Participate and proactively add value across CHS IS on the full life cycle of talent management activities (i.e., retention, recruiting, development, succession planning, leading change, etc.)
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in business, human resources, psychology or related field.
HR Certifications and experience using individual assessments would be an asset.
Requirements:
Expertise in Experienced Professional recruiting
Experience in organization or leadership development
Demonstrated ability managing a team
Highly adept at all Microsoft Office Products, especially excel.
Minimum 8 years HR and Talent Acquisition/Management Experience combined
Experience designing and/or administering programs in two or more talent management related disciplines such as performance management, talent and succession planning, personnel assessment and selection (executive or non-executive), leadership or executive development
Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and presentation skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
