To provide support for respective manger and department director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities _ include the following. Other duties may be assigned._
Answer incoming calls
Cover for other support staff as needed including monthly rotations at the receptionist desk
Gather inventory totals for respective teams and send to managers.
Retype claims
Sort mail/faxes and distribute
Key letter 63 review requests
Key F/C change requests in FACS and hospital system
SMART log status reports
Scanning documents to the Q drive
Purging facility files
Miscellaneous tasks assigned by manager, this may include :
Printing and distributing facility/collector FACS reports
Updating Excel information sheets
Ordering office supplies
Inter-office deliveries
Compiling facility requests for PASI's Information Coordinator
Updating EBOS' Sharepoint calendar
Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short-correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compare rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills
Preferred knowledge of HMS, and FACS. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
