Community Health Systems Professional Services Corporation seeks a Clinical Informatics Training Analyst for its Franklin, TN, headquarters' Quality and Clinical Transformation - Clinical Informatics team.
General Purpose: The Clinical Informatics Training Analyst is responsible for the development, maintenance, and implementation of corporate standard training plans and materials as part of successful clinical adoption of the electronic medical record.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following
Collaborates with IS - Clinical Systems Support to master the electronic medical record application and understand role-based workflows
Collaborates with clinical business partners to define role-based workflows within clinical applications
Proficient with multiple training methods and tools to accommodate the various ways audiences learn
Design learning products, including web-based courses using authoring tools such as Captivate, quick reference guides, facilitator guides, etc.
Develop instructional materials and products for technology based design and redesign of technical course for eMR training
Work with Subject Matter to understand audience need for upcoming education engagements as well as on-going support
Creates online, face-to-face, and /or blended training courses and products
Participates in train domain maintenance, e-learning module design and production, training delivery and exercises, creating and revising manuals, and competency testing for all supported Clinical Applications
Provides on-going support of continuous learning processes throughout our hospitals working with local Education Coordinators
Facilitates training feedback to incorporate into the improvement of clinical informatics training

Qualifications:
Skilled in adult education techniques and the principles of adult learning with the ability to utilize instructional methods that are appropriate when training on new information
Knowledge of principles and methods of training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups
Experience and success in written and verbal communication (i.e. speak in front of large groups of people)
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Possess energy and enthusiasm required to work successfully on multiple projects while adhering to deadlines
Experience creating materials and developing curricula for technical training
Prefer experience with training software solutions, training requirement/needs analysis critical thinking, strong listening skills, metrics definition, leadership to move ideas to execution
Prefer experience training clinical staff on a clinical information system
Experience using Captivate courseware
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
Associate''s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training in the healthcare, IT, education, or training setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REASONING ABILITY:
The ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
