ABOUT THE COMPANY
My client is a leading service organization in the Manufacturing market; they are looking to hire a Senior Accountant. The company boasts a team-oriented culture and provides its' employees with the tools and training necessary to perform.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER/SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:
The Accounting Manager/ Senior Accountant will compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
Handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
Complete mulit-state filings.
Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.
Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.
Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to monthly close process.
Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
Work closely with outsourced payroll company on reporting
Complete multi-state annual report filing
Possibly manage AP/ AR
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
o 3-5 years of experience
o Manufacturing/Construction background a plus
o Fixed/Assets/Inventory
o Experience with ERP Systems preferred
o Corporate Accounting / General Ledger Experience
o Advanced Excel
o Bachelor's degree required
o Cost accounting a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
