ACUTE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
SUPPORT/VARIED/08 HOURS PER PAY
The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant assumes a supportive role on the patient care teams. This individual will provide direct patient care and will monitor the patient's progress and reports the progress to the care team. The COTA provides treatment to patients, under the direction of an occupational therapist, to enhance the physical and/or cognitive performances while adjusting to their disabilities as defined the assistant's scope of practice. Completes required documentation and provides appropriate patient and/or family teaching. The assistant will also participate in staff management, cost management, and professional practice activities. This position is responsible for maintaining certification and/or licensure, achieving all continuing education requirements, demonstrating excellent customer service and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the department
Education:
Degree in occupational therapy from an accredited COTA program.
Licensure:
Current occupational therapist assistant license/certification in State of Ohio. Maintains CEUs for licensure renewal.
Certification:
Current CPR certification.
Experience:
May be a recent graduate with a generalist background. Prefer a minimum of one-year experience.
Skills/Other:
Demonstrates knowledge base and skill in providing age specific care. Possesses team-focused attributes. Works scheduled hours as assigned.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
